For our theme on "Camping", I hung a sheet from the ceiling for our "tent". We also made "Camping Bags" with flashlights, "maps", our binoculars, canteens and more! We had snacks and extended story-times under our tent with the lights turned out and sounds of crickets and fire popping in the background- In a stroke of luck, it rained that day and the mood was definitely set for real!
