Hey Everyone! Welcome the "Learning Centers" Gallery. The Main Learning Centers that I incorporate into my class are: Discovery/ Science, Music/ Movement, Dramatic Play, Art, and special activities with Math and Language.
Musical Shakers
For one of our first projects of the year during a Musical Learning Center, we created these Musical Shakers (To go along with a theme on "Shapes"). We used a clearance buy of mine (plastic Easter Eggs)- OVALS- and filled them with different items (rice, small beans, beads). I hot glued them shut, put the children's name on their own sets and we use them during music time! The kids LOVE using their shakers! (NOTE: After over a full semester of shaking, I did have to freshen up the hot glue seal on our shakers)
