When "Labor Day" Rolled around, our preschool was deep in the throws of practicing for our Thanksgiving Pageant. A quick and fun project that we did was creating Red, White and Blue Sand Art. The project taught the kids about patterns and fostered growth in fine motor skills. Usung some supplies I already had on hand (bottles and sand), we alternated the famous patriotic colors and sealed them with hot glue!
