It is always helpful to have a "Helpers Chart" in your classroom. However, I add a special twist to mine- I use pockets (such as for library books) and write a child's name on an index inside each pocket. As I assign the jobs, I add the date and job I assigned each child- That way I dont' have to keep records of who should have what job next, etc!
