Hey Everyone! Welcome the "Learning Centers" Gallery. The Main Learning Centers that I incorporate into my class are: Discovery/ Science, Music/ Movement, Dramatic Play, Art, and special activities with Math and Language.
The Mailbox Center
This is a unique learning center that I created and used in my after-school care class. Students were invited to write a letter or message to someone in the class or myself, put it in an envelope and let the "mailperson" (ME) come get it and deliver it to their message boxes. The kids LOVED this center and it is really inexpensive (this mailbox cost me $8 and I have used it for 3 years in different programs). The kids were so excited to get to class to see if they had gotten any messages!
